As we move closer to observing the first anniversary of the death of former President Nelson Mandela, who died on December 05th last year, provincial plans to celebrate his life and memory are at an advanced stage.
In a move that would continue to express how the province values its liberation heritage, Gauteng will honour its heroes who played a role in building the free and democratic South Africa of today.
Walking the Mandela Legacy - 12 November, 2014
The Gauteng Provincial Government in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation launched the Nelson Mandela Remembrance Walk.
The Walk will remember Madiba’s passage through Pretoria to his last resting place and celebrate his legacy.
The Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation strives to make radical changes to the culture of dance. During the Gauteng Dance Indaba held at the Pyramid Hotel on Wednesday.
