The streets of Tshwane came to a halt on Saturday, 13 December when thousands took to the streets to celebrate the legacy of Nelson Mandela by participating in the Mandela Remembrance Walk.
The streets of Tshwane’s city centre are ready for the thousands of people expected for the inaugural Nelson Mandela Remembrance Walk happening this Saturday 13 December.
Participants who wish to make use of the buses from certain regions of Gauteng are urged to arrive early at their respective pick up points. All buses should be at the pickup points at 05h00, 13 December 2014.
Gauteng Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation MEC Molebatsi Bopape has thanked the great number of people that have registered for the Nelson Mandela Remembrance Walk, that will be held in Pretoria on Saturday, 13 December 2014.
With only five days remaining before registration closes, MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Ms Molebatsi Bopape is reminding the public that registration is still open for Nelson Mandela Remembrance Walk.
