Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Faith Mazibuko congratulates Ekurhuleni based team Highlands Park for gaining promotion to the Premier Soccer League.
A newly refurbished Boipatong Memorial and Youth Centre was officially opened by Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Faith Mazibuko on Friday, 17 June 2016 in Boipatong. Renovations of the area cost around R34million.
Gauteng Premier David Makura has encouraged the Youth of today to define their own path. Premier Makhura was speaking at the 40th anniversary commemorations of the June 16, 1976 Soweto Uprisings.
Gauteng MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Faith Mazibuko, has added her voice, mourning the passing of veteran actor and director Nyembezi Kunene.
The monument situated on corner Lillian Ngoyi and Helen Joseph streets in Tshwane will honour the heroines of the 1956 Women’s march led by Lillian Ngoyi, Helen Joseph, Sophie Williams-De Bryun and Rahima Moosa.
