The Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation in partnership with the main sponsors Telkom will embark on a road show campaign to get more people to nominate.

Once again the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation invites Gauteng sport and recreation and arts and culture organisations, sport federations and HIV/Aids organisations to submit proposals for project funding.

The Gauteng Carnival has started preparing for the anticipated better three day event from 7-9 September 2012. All choreographers, community groups and upcoming DJs around Gauteng Province are invited to register.

The Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation in partnership with Telkom and Emperors Palace has kick started a campaign to urge Gauteng communities and sport federations to nominate their favourite sport stars.

National Archives week is celebrated annually during the workers month. It was with this relevance in mind that the Gauteng Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation launched this important event at the Workers Museum on the 9th of May.
